OUR HISTORY:

Coffee Contigo has been serving the community for the past three and one-half years, and is noted for its good customer service and friendliness, as well as providing a nice and safe enviroment where students and adults can enjoy the products offered.

The clientele at Coffee Contigo varies - the morning customers tend to be mostly adults on their way to work or back from the gym, while as the day progresses students, teachers and school administrators are more likely to show up.

Owner Monica Gonzales notes that her proudest accomplishment as a business owner was realized recently - when Coffee Contigo was able to provide it's customers with a hot meal and a moment of sanity during the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Ike. Monica says the service to the community helped her family and her employees as well, offering a blessing in the form of being able to extend a helping hand.

Monica feels the secret to the success of Coffee Contigo is its ability to stay positive, and to treat all customers with respect, while continuing to show respect and support to the employees. "I opened my business," she shares, "knowing it was going to be difficult and knowing as well that people were going to compare my company with others. Smiling faces and outstanding customer service, combined with a wide selection of products, has enabled us to set ourselves apart."

She also notes that if she could do anything differently, she would "start a lot sooner. This is such a rewarding career, and the future is wide open."

The Economic Alliance, along with business leaders of Channelview, Galena Park, Jacinto City, North Shore and Sheldon, salutes Coffee Contigo for its business excellence operations!
